Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapists specialize in the assessment and treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular pathologies. These include chronic lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
More acute multi-systemic problems stemming from other pathological conditions may include heart attack, stroke, trauma or complications at birth.
Our respiratory therapists work as part of a team with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.
